2015 Drug Testing Codes
On January 8th, 2015
Effective January 1, 2015, Current Procedure Terminology (CPT)codes 80300-80377 were added to replace deleted 2014 drug testing codes. However, at this time, these new codes will not be recognized by Medicare. Claims reporting codes 80300-80377 will be returned as unprocessable. New HCPCs G6030-G6058 should be used to report drug testing services in lieu of the new CPT codes.
